The Big Day Finally Arrived!!!

First of all, this being August 26, 2006...let me apologize for my tardiness, although I am not sorry, for it has been a very busy last five or so weeks. I have had so many people ask about the babies and the blog so I am giving a few details for now as Jess and I and the girls are living at the lake until about the middle of October when I have to return to work and we do not have a computer up there to work on the blog. That said...

On Wednesday, July 19th at 2:13 a.m. Stella Grace Mansell did "grace" us with her presence although she did enter this world by being "vacuumed" into it! Then a short 4 minutes later at 2:17 a.m. Rowan Sophia decided to join us. Stella weighed in at 5 pounds 13 ounces and Rowan weighed in at 5 pounds 10 1/2 ounces and both were delivered naturally with lots of hair and of course all of the other parts they require...

I will be including more detail in the future...probably October, until then be assured that Jess and the girls are all fine and we are enjoying getting to know Stella and Rowan, yes, it is great to be a grandparent!
