Day Three Toronto - Friday, March 31, 2006

To start off her day, after a very restless sleep thanks to her coughing and worrying about the IV in her arm, Jess had bloodwork done at 6 a.m. The results of the bloodwork showed that Jess's potassium level is low...should have eaten that banana that was on her lunch tray on Thursday, March 30, 2006!

At around 10 a.m. Dr. Ryan stopped by and ordered a chest x-ray done on Jess due to the coughing. He also removed her "patch" from her shoulder and said that he would be back after his clinic to check on the ultrasound. I asked Dr. Ryan if we could get a copy of the VHS and or the CD that they took of the laser surgery on Jess and he said that we could but we would have to go down to "Imaging" on the first floor to purchase them.

At 10:30 a.m. I went down to "Imaging" on the first floor to "Graphics and New Media" to purchase a VHS and a DVD of the surgery, but they did not have them yet. They said they would contact Dr. Ryan's office to get them so they could dubb them for us.

Jess was taken for her chest x-ray around 11 a.m. Dr. Matthew Morten came in to see Jess after she got back from Radiology and he told us that her x-ray looked pristine and he suggested to Kristina (RN) that she give Jess some Codeine for her cough, which she did.

At 11:45 a.m. Jess was taken to Ultrasound and Diana (RN) performed it and said that both babies have bladders working fine and are looking quite healthy. Diana gave us pictures from the ultrasound, one of each baby - Oly was the one that was in "Saran Wrap" before surgery Thursday, March 30, 2006.
