Day Two Toronto, Thursday, March 30, 2006
Well, sadly, Jess didn't get much sleep Wednesday night as I kept waking her up SNORING!!! After she had to get out of bed twice to nudge me I told her to use her back scratcher and just poke me, sure enough, it worked like a charm - poor Jess.
It was a good thing that Jess stayed in the hospital Thursday and Friday, probably got some much needed rest. We had a wake up call for 6 a.m. that we didn't really need since I kept waking Jess up...I finally got up at 5:50 a.m. for a shower.
We found that the communications were not too good...they told us to go to the 7th floor of Mt. Sinai Hospital, which is what we did and went to the South Nursing Station. The RN, Clarissa, taking care of Jess, took her to her room (#716) and got her settled in while I got to go back down to the Third Floor to Admitting to fill out the paper work to get Jess admitted (we were not informed that we would have to do that before going up to the 7th floor, oh well). At 7:30 a.m. there was a shift change and Jess's new RN was Kristina Bozicevic, who took all of her vitals before she had to head down to the 5th floor for her laser surgery.
