Picture - July 1, 2006, Auntie Milly talks to the babes and gives them a "love tap"...

One of Jessi's best friends, Laura Dixon's dad was the one who performed the ultrasound on the babes this morning and he gave us two copies of the picture of the babies heads for their baby books. Yes, both are head down, must have been all that movement last week. Lesley, Bruce and I all joined her for the ultrasound. The measurements were for Twin A - 5 lbs. 1 ozs. and Twin B - 4 lbs. 10 ozs. Jessi has gained just about forty pounds as she weighs in at 169 lbs. Again, the stress test said only that they are "happy babies" which is a good thing. Dr. Martel told Jess that she didn't think she would make it any more than 10 days from today. So, in less that two weeks we will finally hold those bundles of joy and Jess will be able to try to deliver naturally, yeah!

Lesley has to work every day this week except the 5th which is her day in the "Baby Pool" so she is hoping they will arrive on her day so she can take part in the delivery process too. Lesley and Paul also have to attend a wedding up at Elkridge by Waskesui this weekend so she hopes the babes won't decide to come on either the 7th, 8th or 9th...good luck with that Les. Like Jessi has been telling everyone, it's not up to her, it's up to them when they will grace us with their presence.
