Prenatal Classes, etc.

We signed up for Three Monday night Prenatal Classes, Apr 24, May 1 and May 8 and they each ran from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This may have been a mistake as the last hour was pretty hard to sit thru...got kind of uncomfortable and the yawns were widespread. The Monday of April 24, 2006 was the first class and I worked until 6 p.m. that day (forgetting about the class - another Mentalpausal moment) and when I get home from work I always take Roli for his walk around the block and as I was doing that my memory came to and panic set in. When I got back up to the condo it was 6:25 p.m. and I said to Jess, "We have to hustle, our first prenatal class is tonight"...seems even young minds wander as she had forgotten too. Then when we got to RUH we got lost and stumbled into class a good 10 to 15 minutes late...thank goodness it was just across the river.

Lesley went with Jess on the Tuesday, May 9, 2006 for the tour of RUH so she would have an idea of where and what would happen. She found out because of her tattoo on her back that she would have to have Dr. Martel refer her to see Dr. Campbell (the Anesthetist) before she delivered so he could check out her tattoo and see if it would interfere with the drugs, so that appointment is set for June 12, 2006.
