July 12, 2006 Dr. Appointment, etc.
On Tuesday, July 11, 2006 Nadine brought over the "Nursing Pillow" that she had designed and made for Jessica, along with 3 extra covers for when washing needs to be done. She is so talented, she did a great job!
At 8 a.m. sharp on Wednesday, July 12, 2006, Ninette Denis (from ELRP) was the technician who performed the 1 hour ultrasound on Jess at RUH. There were not any weights done during this test, it was a "Biophysical Profile" on the babes to check out their movements. Unfortunately, all Jess had eaten before going in were a few strawberries, so the girls were too laid back and Ninette had to "alarm" them to wake them up to perform the ultrasound. We then headed across the hall to have another non-stress test done on the babes, their heartrates were right around 150 and 135 for most of that test. It was actually alot better having the non-stress test done at RUH because they have a twins monitor so Jess just had to sit there 15 to 20 minutes instead of at Dr. Martel's office where she had to sit there for 30 to 40 minutes...it was quite uncomfortable. From RUH it was over to Dr. Martel's office for a check up. She told Jess that she would book her in to be induced on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 if she doesn't have them before then.
Later on that day Tami Turner came by with a basket of "goodies" the she and her mom had put together for the babes since she is heading out of town this weekend, just in case they decide to arrive while she is gone. There were all kinds of great surprises in there!
