Picture - Saturday, July 15, 2006...ready to go!

On Thursday, July 13, 2006 three postcards arrived in the mail from Hadi. Two for Jessica and one for Bruce and I. Beautiful beaches and an awesome sunset from the land of paradise. He is very excited and can't wait to hear when the girls have arrived.

Jess found a bit of a rash on her back so we went over to see Dr. Carla Eisenhauer about it. We found out that she has "Shingles" now...so what's next! Jess said something to the effect of "I must have been mean to someone or something cause there just seems to be bad Karma here". She is to take 4 pills five times a day of Acyclovir (which cost her $125.78 - adding insult to injury!) and she is on them for 7 days. Dr. Carla called the anesthetist to see if this would interfere with her being induced on Tuesday but he is away until Monday, so she will find out on Monday and let us know. If so, she may have to wait until Friday to deliver, which just happens to be my birthday. That would be nice, but we would like them to arrive earlier so they have more time to be with us before we take them out to B.C. on the houseboats. Right at this moment though, they are content where they are I guess.

I just took the picture above, Saturday, July 15, 2006...guess that will be the last "every two weeks" photo shot. Jess's bags are packed and she is "good to go"!
